The Toronto International Film Festival, which has become an increasingly important platform for awards-seeking titles in recent years (Both The King’s Speech and Black Swan played there last year), announced its 2011 line-up this morning.

The 11-day festival, set to kick off on Sept. 8, will feature the world premieres of Moneyball, a baseball drama starring Brad Pitt; 50/50, a cancer dramedy with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen; Alexander Payne’s The Descendants, a drama starring George Clooney; Butter, a butter-carving satire featuring Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman; Albert Nobbs, an Iris-set period drama starring Glenn Close; and Francis Ford Coppola’s murder-mystery Twixt, among others.

Other notable pictures playing at TIFF: Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan; Marc Forster’s religious drama Machine Gun Preacher, starring Gerard Butler; David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method, which features Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung and Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud; Madonna’s W.E., a romantic drama; George Clooney’s directorial effort The Ides of March; and Cameron Crowe’s music doc Pearl Jam Twenty.

50/50 Jonathan Levine, World Premiere
Inspired by personal experiences, 50/50 is a funny, touching and original story of friendship, love, and survival starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard and Anjelica Huston. Written by Will Riser and directed by Jonathan Levine.

Guess who will star next to Anna as the father of her child in her upcoming movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. It’s “Gossip Girl”‘s Chace Crawford and I already can picture them together, they’ll make a very beautiful couple!

Lionsgate and the producers of the film adaptation of the worldwide bestselling book What to Expect When You’re Expecting are thrilled to announce that Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl, the upcoming Peace, Love and Misunderstanding and Responsible Adults) has been cast to star along with Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick and Rob Huebel. The film is expected to begin shooting mid-Summer 2011, and will be in theaters everywhere on May 11, 2012.

Crawford will play Marco in one of the film’s interlocking stories. His character reunites with an attractive old flame (Anna Kendrick) after a turf war between their respective food trucks, and they embark on a funny, poignant journey together in the wake of a surprise pregnancy.

Thanks to talented Christine we have an amazing new look at the main site! I plan to revamp many sections of the site like projects pages and icon archive during the summer and also fill up the gallery with even more photos of our beautiful girl. She’s gonna have a very busy year so we must be ready :).
