New upcoming project for Anna has been confirmed! She is going to be really busy the next couple of years:
Anna Kendrick has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” the studio announced Thursday.
She joins Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez and Brooklyn Decker in the adaptation of the pregnancy manual.
The movie, directed by Kirk Jones, is an ensemble comedy.
Kendrick will play Rosie, a woman who “reunites with an attractive old flame after a turf war between their respective food trucks.”
The movie has a release date of May 11, 2012. It is set to begin shooting this summer.
Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer and David Thwaites are producing through their Phoenix Pictures.
The film is based on Heidi Murkoff’s book. Heather Hatch wrote the script, which was rewritten by Shauna Cross.
Kendrick was nominated for the best supporting actress Oscar for her performance in 2009’s “Up in the Air.”
The 3-D animated feature ParaNorman will be released by Focus Features on August 17, 2012. Sam Fell and Chris Butler are directing the project.
The comedy thriller, which has a screenplay by Butler, takes place in a small town that comes under siege by zombies, and the misunderstood local boy Norman, who is able to speak with the dead and will be the town’s only chance to save it from a centuries-old curse.
The film will feature the voices of John Goodman, Anna Kendrick, Elaine Stritch, Casey Affleck, Tempestt Bledsoe, Jeff Garlin, Bernard Hill, Leslie Mann, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tucker Albrizzi, Alex Bornstein, and Jodelle Ferland..
Grammy Award winner Jon Brion is writing the film’s score.

Kendrick will play the wife of Jake Gyllenhaal
EXCLUSIVE: Anna Kendrick and Natalie Martinez are in negotiations to co-star in “End of Watch” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena.
Pic will be written and directed by David Ayer.
Story follows the longtime partnership of two LAPD officers as they confront marriage, love, fatherhood and the harsh realities of the Los Angeles streets. Kendrick and Martinez will play the officers’ love interest.
Ayers and John Lesher will produce through Ayer’s Crave Films and Lesher’s Le Grisbi Productions.
Exclusive Films International is handling worldwide sales of the pic and the film is expected to go into production sometime this summer.
Kendrick can be seen next in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1″ as well as “50/50″ starring Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogen.
Martinez was most recently seen as Det. Sanchez on ABC’s “Detroit 1-8-7.”
She is repped by CAA and Barnes, Morris, Mark, Yorn & Levine. Martinez is repped by WME and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment.

Stepping out for a good cause, Anna Kendrick was spotted at Sundance Institute’s “Celebrate Sundance Institute” benefit in Beverly Hills last night (June 8).
The “New Moon” babe looked fabulous as she strolled up to Franklin Canyon Ranch, sporting a strapless gold dress with red heels and a red clutch.
Coming up this fall, Anna will be starring in “50/50” along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Due out September 30th, the film is a comedic account of a 27-year-old guy’s cancer diagnosis and his subsequent struggle to beat the disease.
