I’m really excited to say we have a brand new design for the main site! Natalie of 2N-Designs made this fantastic theme for us.
Personally I love everything on it, from the pictures and the colors to the general composition and coding. It has something magical on it! I really hope you like it as much as I do. Any feedback will be great.
The actress has revealed she was planning to have her iPod engraved with a rude word — but decided against it as she didn’t want to offend anyone.
“I wanted to have my red iPod Nano personalized with a rude word but I was afraid it would offend whoever had to do the engraving,” she said.
“I also have the old iPhone. I don’t wait in line for technology.”
Kendrick recently insisted she hasn’t “really changed” — despite becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest young stars.
“I haven’t really changed,” she told Company magazine. “I feel really lucky to be doing the work I’m doing, but everything else around me is basically the same.
“I still prefer sitting at home watching movies instead of going out to bars.”
Though she is only 25 years old, Anna Kendrick has already made a huge impact on the film world. She’s acts in one of the biggest modern franchises, earned an Academy Award nomination for her stellar performance alongside George Clooney in Up In The Air and plays a role in one of this summer’s most critically lauded films. And her star is only going to grow bigger.
I was granted the opportunity to sit down with the actress, who plays Scott Pilgrim’s sister, Stacey, in Edgar Wright’s film to talk about the welcomed frustration that comes with working with Wright, her experience working in ensemble casts, and her upcoming film, Live With It.
How did you come to the project and were you familiar with Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic series before hand?
I was not familiar but Edgar sent me the books in anticipation of meeting about the role, and I obviously just tore through them, they are just so fun to read. They were great as a reference point.
And how did Edgar contact you about the role?
He just got in touch with my agency after seeing a film I did called Rocket Science. My first meeting with Edgar was actually before I shot even the first Twilight movie. So I’ve been involved in this for a long time. [laughs]
The folks over in the UK have been waiting patiently and finally today (August 18) “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” held its London premiere.
Anna Kendrick, Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead all showed up at the Empire Leicester Square for the big event, showing some love to their fans before heading inside.
In a recent interview, Michael talked about how much he enjoyed working with writer/director Edgar Wright on the film.
“[It was] really amazing. It was different from anything I had ever done. It was a different actor-director relationship as far as what he was asking of people, because he knew what he wanted and knew exactly what he was making. But at the same time I always felt like I had ownership of the character. His choices in shot design and look of the film works really well.”
